Quiet, cozy, and peaceful are the best words to describe this place. It also has great history imbedded into the decor. Close enough to a long list of places and things to do. We went to the following places while we stayed Dinosaurs in Seymour, Copper Brake State Park, Medicine Mounds in Medicine Mound Texas and Caprock State Park. Are all amazing places. If we are ever back up this way or know someone this place is #1 in my opinion.
We had the best time here celebrating our 50th anniversary! The host went out of her way to give us a lovely experience in this fun, comfortable, vintage hotel. We will definitely come back!

My family and I have stayed there numerous times and always look forward to returning to Throckmorton and staying at that place. It’s accommodating clean and we’re able to accommodate our dog a small Westy.
